I have a close friend that’s in a bike club. They go to parties a lot and bar b ques and things like that. His girlfriend gets upset because she feels it’s meaningless and he spends too much time and energy in it. I don’t get why is it so important to these guys?

I enjoy my MC club, but so does my GF. if he is not paying attention to her, maybe she should find someone else.
the whole point of a MC club is to have fun. if she isn’t having fun, then she should find something else. if she likes bikes, perhaps getting one of her own? if she doesn’t well, find something (and someone) she is interested in.

Pretty much the same, trail/cross country bikes are both ideally lightweight bikes capable of climbing, a ‘trail’ bike may have a more vertical fork to allow sharper turns, neither will have a lot of suspension travel.
On the shifter cable, it’s pretty easy, for fine adjustments turning the knob where the cable housing goes into the shifter clockwise (from the cable end) will let off tension, counter clockwise will increase it. If it needs to be adjusted a lot, loosen the nut holding the cable to the d-rail, turn the adjuster on the shifter all the way in, pull the cable a bit tighter, make fine adjustments at the shifter.

I think I have a form of Asbergers. I have a hard time interacting and fitting in socially. The riders have a lot of social events, n a huge part of initiation means going to these events and interacting.
What should I do, or can u give me any tips to not stand out because i’m socially awkward? Should I tell the president ahead of time about my social ineptness?

No, I would just attend the events that are required and do what is necessary. There are always behind the scene people at events to set up motorcycle games, serve refreshments, etc. Just help in whatever suits you. You will get more relaxed once you are around the other members.

Well it depends on the focus of your bike tour? Road or Mountain bike? Seeing how Colorado is know for the Rocky Mountains, you many want to incorporate that into it. Additionally, since the state from Denver going West is just about mile high or more above sea-level you may want to use that.
