What happens to biking in Chicago after Daley’s gone?

Cycling Bike at Night

epSos.de was cycling this classic, specialized exercise bike for the three happy years, before it was stolen by a heartless person.

Warm streams of fast wind polished the skin while riding the road on this bike. It was almost music to exercise on the long evenings that were colored with the happiness of a glowing red sky.

Racing on the trek of competition was fun and easy on this classic trekking bike, because it’s bicycle parts were specialized for speed and agility.

The long exposure in this picture is very hard, because the background does compete with the glowing reflections of the safety parts from the bicycle.

Q&A: How do you look after your front shocks on mountainbike?

Question by muppetnz: How do you look after your front shocks on mountainbike?
I have rockshock ‘Pilot’s’ but not sure how to look after them. Do I just wash the chrome or do I also silicone spray them?

Best answer:

Answer by mirageguitarworks
I think that the Pilots have elastomers in them. This means that in place of springs or gas, they just have small rubber grommets to absorb the shock. If this is the case, simply keep the sliders clean and lubricate the sliders about every 10 hours of use with a good lubricant like RockShox lube or Pedro’s.

Remember that just because a bike has shocks that it isn’t necessarily a mountain bike. Most everyone that calls their bike a mountain bike actually owns an atb, or all-terrain bike. An atb is intended for on-road and off road on smoother trails. Chances are if you paid under 0 for it, you have an atb.

Also, it might be important to note that shocks on a bike are there for the same reason as shocks on a car… not comfort, but handling, to keep the wheels on the ground. Although some shocks do indeed reduce vibration, again, they are primarily on heavily padded “comfort” bikes or atbs, which are built for an entirely different purpose than a mountain bike.

What mountainbike should i get after my Giant Iguana?

Mountainbike
by anikki6

Question by boxed_rice: What mountainbike should i get after my Giant Iguana?
I currently have a 2006 Giant Iguana and was wondering if anyone knew a good next bike. My price range is 0-0 and i am 5 foot 3 inches and 110 pounds. I ride on cross country mostly but occasionally take a few jumps lower than 4 feet. I am leaning towards a Full suspension but i could also use a hard tail. I am open to any sugestions that will narrow down my choice.
