Question by Happy Bowtie: What are some good Mountainbike brands in the US?
Or what is a good website where I can get some bike reviews. I’m looking for a hardtail bike for arround 1500 $. If you have a specific model in mind, I’d be happy to hear about it.

Once you get into that price range they are ALL GOOD. It comes down to what feels right to you & which shop you think has the better service dept.

Personally, I would prefer a Gary Fisher or a Trek. That’s just me. Both bikes listed below have hydraulic disc brakes vs. mechanical. All Fisher bikes will soon be on the Trek web site anyway. It’s basically the same company.
